What is Music Band/Rock band?

• Its a group of like minded people who love music perform instrumental or vocal music, typically known by a distinct name. Normally the young people are the very big fans of kind of music.It is more popular in western countries. Here in our Indian cinema music has more followers. But recent trend shows the surging number music band lovers in our land.

What is jaming in Rock band?

• JAMMING is widely called as practicing in rock band groups.

There is not much music bands in Kannur city ,so here i am listing one of the most famous band from Kannur.

 

The Down Troddence -TDT-Kannur.

This is considered as the first band from northern side of Kerala. Team first performed in a engineering college.

RALPH WITH FRIENDS

“Ralph with Friends” is a Raga oriented Western Neo-Classical Instrumental band

• Formed in the  year 2007
• Popular in Kerala for their show of the same name on Rosebowl.
• “Ralph With Friends” is the first band to play Neo-classical Western instrumental in India. Originated in Cochin, the band mainly plays Raga oriented Neo-Classical Piano Pieces with the accompany of Drums and Bass.
• Apart from playing the band’s own compositions (some exquisite pieces written by Ralfin), the band also covers music of renowned artists such as Richard Clayderman, Jim Brickman, David Harp, Keiko Matsui, Maksim Mrvica, Steve Vai, Yanni etc.
