• Why Kerala actresses marry abroad working persons?

I have noticed  such a trend in Mollywood that , Actresses marry abroad working man and settle abroad after marriage. Why can’t they tie knot with local people ?. I scratched my head for long to find a reasonable  answer. And interestingly I found that that abroad settled female celebrities  are less likely get divorced as well. Few reasons.

•  Non-Film background arranged marriage lasts for long.
• Abroad is gives more privacy since they are not popular there.

1.Samvrutha Sunil (MIGRATED TO US)

• Born in thiyya family of   Kannur district of Kerala.
• Samvrutha married US based engineer Akhil Jayaraj .
• Akhil jayaraj is working in desnyland as software engineer.

2.Divya Unni  (MIGRATED TO US)

• Director Vinayan Introduced actress Divya is professional classical dancer as well.
• She married Sudhir Sekharan on 5 June 2002.
• She migrated to the US after her marriage
• They have a son Arjun & a daughter Meenakshi .
• To promote  Indian culture in the West, Divya is developing the artistic talents of young children in the U.S.
• She is currently the Director of Sreepadam School of Arts in Houston, Texas, U.S.A., with a branch in Kochi, India.

3.Gopika ( Girly Anto)-(MIGRATED TO Northern Ireland)

• South Indian Actress Gopika.
• Gopika was born as in a Syrian Christian family settled in Thrissur.
• A daughter, Amy, was born to them in Belfast on 14 April 2010.
• Gopika married Ajilesh Chacko, a doctor working in Northern Ireland and migrated to Ireland after marriage.

4.Kanika :(MIGRATED TO US)

• BITS pilani Btech pass out Kanika Married  Shyam Radhakrishnan ON 2008.
• After marriage she migrated USA(united stated of america).
• Her husband is working as Software Engineering in America.
• They have a son Sai Rishi born in November 2010.

5.Karthika Mathew(Lidiya Jacob )-(MIGRATED TO US)

• Director Vinayan introduced actress Karthika.
• Hails from Cochin.
• Was engaged with Merin Mathew a US citizen for quite long and in 2009 they tied the knot .
• Merin is working as  medical officer at Blue Mount Hospital in Michigan.

6.Meera Jasmin (Settled in Dubai)

• Lohidas introduced actress is one among the most talented actress mollywood ever produced.
• Meera is married to Anil John Titus on 9 February 2014
• Works as an engineer in Dubai.

 7.Abhirami (MIGRATED TO US)

• This tall girl from trivandrum  got chance to pair with almost all superstars in Kerala cinema .
• Started her professional life as television anchor and later entered to tinseltown with Rajasenans Jayaram starred movie .
• She flicked few controversies . Like declaring her willingness to work in any kind of glamour role. And She declined the offer to pair with Director LaL  in movie thenkasipattanam.
• Later in Tamil cinema she got typecast and called as actress of older actors.And seldom got chance to work with  mainstream young Tamil actors.
• She was  school mates Prithviraj and Indrajith.
• Abhirami  married to well acclaimed writer Pavanan’s grandson Rahul Pavanan.
• Abhirami was in love with Rahul and later they decided to tie the knot and later she migrated to USA.
• Rahul is  a consultant in the US.

• Maathu married a New York based Malayali, Dr.Jacob in 12 June 1999. They have a daughter, Anna and a son, Johan. The couple got divorced in late 2012.

• Currently, she is married to S.Bajore Director of Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institutions. She also works with her husband in the business as the director of cultural activities promoting Indian dances and programmes. She has a son and a daughter. She now lives with her family in Albany, New York United States.
