Lip lock scenes are very common in Hollywood movies since its inception and it is common now in Bollywood movies as well . But lip lock is still a taboo in Kerala films. There is only few movies released in Kerala with lip locks and I have hand picked it for you people to analyse. And its notable that none of the films crossed the moral limit and when we watch we could understand that the cinema demand  such scenes .

I can’t write this kind of article about Hollywood,Bollywood  or any other film industry, because  in all other film woods LIP-LOCK scenes  are  very common. Malayalam film industry is the only film industry with  limited number of lip-locks .In Kerala people watch Hollywood movies with high sexual content with out any issues ,BUT THEY WILL would raise moral value propaganda if their local movies include such intimate scenes .Why its so????

 

1: Sanjay kissed Suparna in Vaisali: (First glorified lip lock  ever in Malayalam movie):

Veteran film maker Bharathan included a marvellous intimate scene along with a lip-lock between the character  Rishyashrungan and Vaisali in the 1988 movie Vasiali . I think it was the first time in the history of Malayalam cinema a film-maker shown courage to design a scene  like that . And he does it in such a beautiful way that it is even digested for the family audience. And its funny to note that actress and actor in the movie tied knot later in their real life.

2: Asif kissed Bhavana in Honey Bee :

Seasoned actor and director Lals son Junior Lals directorial debut included a lip lock scene between Asif Ali and lead actress Bhavana first time ever in  Malayalam film . Even though scene was long short and blurred, it was clear that Bhavana and Asif locked the lips. There wasn’t much controversies heard about this scene ,because its was shot in a such an Angle that its not visible to the viewers easily .

3: Sidharth kissed Rima in Nidra :

Late director Bharathan son Sidharth  remade his fathers cult old movie(1981 film of the same name Nidra ) with same name with new star cast . And he proved he is skilled enough to re create  the movie. He himself portrayed the protagonist and Rima as heroin.

• Scene details and portrayed by : Climax scene of the movie is shot brilliantly underwater with a great and emotional lip lock scene with Sidharth  and director Ashiq abu’s wife Rima kallingal.
• In the original version the roles are enacted by  Vijay Menon and Santhikrishna. There was no such lip lock scene as well.

 

4:Fahad kissed Remya in  Chappa Kurishu:(Longest kiss in the history of Malayalam cinema):

Most controversial and longest lip lick scene ever pictured in Malayalam industry credit goes to the crew of Chappa Kurishu. Unlike many other movies ,the Chappa Kurishu team never used the kiss scene in any of their marketing promotions. When I watched the movie I understood the importance of that scene. Without the scene I believe that the film wouldn’t been completed in the way it deserved to be. The  total story of the movie revolves around that lip lock scene .

5:Nitish kissed Suparna in Njan Gandharvan:

• Njan Gandharvan ,Padmarajans last movie conveyed a never told love story between a lady and a celestial  body. The ever bold and talented Padmagrajan despite many bottlenecks finished the movie as well pictured a beautiful lip lock scene between actress and actor in close up shoot .

• Scene details and portrayed by : Nitish Bharadwaj and Suparna Anand.
• If god would have given more days in this world to Padmarajan,I believe he could have changed existing intimate scene taboo culture in Kerala.

6: Fahad kissed Andrea in Annayum Rasoolum:

Once again the most talented new generation hero Fahad  Fazil kissed on screen with his beautiful co-star Andrea Jeremiah for his movie Annayum Rasoolum. And kudos to the director Rajeev Ravi for beautifully designing and taking the scene with light background music . That movie invited unwanted controversies for Fahad fazil in his personal life as well. His comments about relation with Andrea Jeremiah (which she  rejected  later) went viral in social media and it was treat for paparazzi for few days.

7: Murali Gopi Kissed  Honey Rose in 1By 2:

After bold performance in critically acclaimed movie Travandrum lodge teen sensation Honey rose stir the controversy again with her new flick 1by2 directed by Arun Kumar Aravind. In the movie she locked lips with films script writer and actor Murali Gopi. For last few weeks its trailer was doing the rounds with mixed comments .

“I have  no regrets doing the scene? “Absolutely not. As an actor, I’m very happy with my character. But as a person, yes, I’m tense about the outcome.”

This time it was Reddy who got chance to lip lock Malayalam  new generation hero and director fazil son Faha fazil .With this kiss Fahad became the first actor in Malayalam film industry who kiss 3 times on screen with 3 different heroins.
